Our starter bobwhites are 8-10 weeks old. Plummage coloration is visible to discern males from females. Starter quail will have transferred from grower feed to conditioning feed at this age. Starter quail will have spent 2-4 weeks inside our flight pens, exposing them to temperature variations, precipitation, and natural elements.
